Core Selection Standard

  1. Base Material: Constant temperature annealed low carbon steel wire. Avoid simple annealed wire with high internal stress.
  2. Coating Type: Only hot-dip galvanized wire. Electro-galvanized wire is prohibited. Minimum zinc coating weight: ≥300g/㎡. Choose matte thick coating instead of bright thin galvanized wire.
  3. Post-treatment: Trivalent chromium passivation + silane sealing is mandatory. Sealing fills micro-pores of zinc layer and blocks chloride penetration, extending service life greatly.
  4. Premium alternative: Hot-dip Galfan wire (5% Al-Zn alloy coating), better anti-corrosion performance in seawater.

Construction Tips

  • Avoid repeated sharp bending to prevent coating cracks.
  • Prevent direct contact between galvanized wire and copper/stainless steel to avoid galvanic corrosion.
