1. Choose high-quality metal wire: Iron wire or stainless steel wire is usually used as raw material. High-quality metal wire should have high tensile strength and corrosion resistance.
2. Cold drawn wire: The selected metal wire is stretched through a cold drawing machine to improve the tensile strength of the metal wire. During the cold drawing process, the diameter of the wire decreases, thereby increasing the number of thorns per unit length.
3. Hot-dip galvanizing: The cold-drawn metal wire is heated to an appropriate temperature, usually 700-900 degrees Celsius, and kept at this temperature for a period of time. During this period, zinc particles are placed on the surface of the metal wire, causing a chemical reaction with the metal wire to form a zinc alloy coating. This step improves the corrosion resistance of the wire.
4. Forming: After the hot-dip galvanized metal wire is cooled to a certain extent, it is formed. Forming methods include wire drawing, weaving, welding, etc. This gives the barbed wire good structure and stability.
5. Thorn tip treatment: In order to improve the piercing performance of the barbed wire, the thorn tips are specially treated. For example, heat treatment, spraying, etc. can be used to make the thorn tips sharper and more durable.
6. Finished product cutting: According to the needs, cut the formed barbed wire to the predetermined length.
7. Quality inspection: Conduct strict quality inspection on finished products to ensure that product quality meets standard requirements.
