Product Description

Electro galvanized wire is a type of wire that has undergone an electroplating process to apply a zinc coating. In this process, an electric current is passed through a zinc solution in which the wire is submerged.

The zinc ions in the solution are attracted to the wire's surface and form a thin coating. Compared to hot-dip galvanized wire, the zinc coating on electro galvanized wire is generally thinner.

Electro galvanized wire is often used in applications where a less robust corrosion protection is sufficient or where a thinner coating is acceptable, such as in some electrical and electronic components, light-duty fencing, and certain types of wire products for indoor use.
